People directly employed by DiGrande Brothers, Inc perform all the work we do and we provide additional management and technical supervision. All of our employees are U.S. citizens or resident aliens authorized to work in the United States by the Department of Immigration.

Additionally, we aim to work in a manner that causes the least possible interference to your employees, residents of your homeowners association and/or your neighbors.

 

We weed all ground covers by hand and may use selective and pre-emergent herbicide at our discretion.

We edge around covers back from paged areas, buildings, and walkways by hand and weed eater machines and prune ground covers away from the base of trees and shrubs.

We fertilize ground covers with a balanced fertilizer to promote vigorous an healthy growth. And continually monitor for insect and disease problems. Pesticides and fungicides will be used as needed to control problems that may arise.

 

 

 

 

 

For commercial buildings, we rotate color annuals two to four times per year at the cost of the owner. We use 4" size pots plant material and condition planter beds prior to every color change.

If the color dies due to our negligence, we are happy to replace it at no charge. However, any plants damaged by vandalism or nature's extremes of will be removed and replaced at the expense of the client.

 

 

 

We prune to promote structural strength and accentuate the plants natural forms and features within limitations of space. We will hedge and shear plants only where called for by design and space limitations.

We prune vines to follow intended design and secure them to support structures, as required, up to a height of 10 feet.

We schedule the pruning of deciduous trees under 12 feet once per year, in the winter months, except for safety related pruning that will be done as needed. We thin evergreen trees and shape them when needed. We check tree stakes regularly to prevent girdling and rubbing damage and will remove the stakes once the tree is able to support itself. We will subcontract a trusted tree servile to top any trees over 12 feet.

We fertilize trees, shrubs and vines as needed to promote healthy and vigorous growth and remove all dead plant material. We will work with you to arrange any replacements.

We check trees, shrubs and vines regularly for pests and treat them as needed. However, we do not conduct pest control service for trees over 12 feet.
