PESTICIDES MOST COMMONLY USED BY DiGRANDE BROTHERS, INC.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency defines a pest as any living organism that occurs where it is not wanted. A pest can be an animal, an insect, a weed, or a host of micro-organisms such as fungi, molds, bacteria and viruses. The entire spectrum of products that prevent, destroy, repel, or mitigate pests is thus called pesticides. For more information, please visit the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. For more information specific to California, please visit the California Department of Pesticide Regulation.
Gardeners most often use four types of pesticides. They are insecticides (for controlling insects), fungicides (for killing fungi), herbicides (for killing weeds), and molluscicides (for killing snails and slugs).
